The artists of SM Entertainment came together in the dream concert “SMTOWN LIVE in TOKYO SPECIAL EDITION” on 2, 3, 4 August in Tokyo Dome, with BoA, Tohoshinki, Shoujo Jidai, Shinee and other passionate acts performing.
Since its inception in 2008, the SMTOWN LIVE has been viewed by 240,000 people in 6 different countries, and it was first performed in Japan this January at the Yoyohi Gymnasium Hall 1, then held additional performances this time, in Tokyo Dome for 3 days.
Also, an opening ceremony was held before the performance on 4 August, with 36 artists from 11 groups making an appearance. Tohoshinki’s Yunho said “It was interesting to collaborate with our seniors and juniors, and after revealing Tohoshinki’s new song, we were really happy that the response was better than expected.”
