[TRANS] 110302 Compilation Of TVXQ On Knee Drop Guru

ShinyPic.Com
Yunho: "Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun are very powerful in terms of potential. The hardest part about being a two-member group TVXQ is that we have to full in that gap. But, we are still very glad that after 2 years and 3 months, our fans have always waited for us."

Yunho's worry: Hopefully the number of their male fans will increase (He wants to know how to do that). Kang Ho Dong asked how many there were, and Yunho said about 3.25% of their total fan count. Changmin said, "Because it's harder for men to look at men and think that they're handsome. If we can earn the recognition of male fans, then that's true charisma."

Yunho went against his parents wishes in middle school and participated in a competition. The first round was singing, and the second round, dancing. He was accepted and traveled to Seoul alone with a backpack. After he officially entered SM, he found there to be around 100 trainees just like himself!

"When I first went to a Seoul sauna, the 13 000 Won price scared me! Gwangju only had the level of around 3500 Won. That's why I went around finding jobs." Ho Dong asked Changmin if he's ever worked before, to which Changmin replied "no."

When they first debuted in Japan, they went on 3-4AM television shows. Changmin said that no one would watch those programs! Following their expansion into the Japanese market and their increasing popularity, their tiny, confined dorms gradually turned into bigger dorms until the point where each member had a room to himself in a luxury hotel.

Changmin: "After the situation erupted, I felt that it was the end." It greatly impacted him, but what killed him the most was hearing the fans talking about betrayal. His parents, family, and friends were all equally hurt just as much as he was. After their last stage on Japan's prestigious NHK live broadcast, Changmin only held onto the mindset that he had to sing and perform well on his favorite stage.

After Changmin was discovered by an SM recruiter, he told his mother, to which she encouraged him to do it. His official contract signing was completed at a rapid pace, while Yunho, on the other hand, had been a trainee for a year before he signed his. After Changmin joined SM, many people didn't regard him in a friendly manner. Even Yunho, who went through so many obstacles, told Changmin in a bitter fashion that if he couldn't continue, he might as well just give up and leave. Yunho said that just by listening to a person's tone, you could tell whether or not his determination was firm or not.

Ho Dong: "Are you more popular or is Seungri more popular in Gwangju?" Yunho: "...I am, but he was more popular on his dance team before we debuted!"

[NEWS]110303 TVXQ reveals their shocking experience with ‘Sasaeng fans’

ShinyPic.Com

The TVXQ duo revealed some shocking incidents they experienced from their ’sasaeng fans’ on “Knee-Drop Guru“.

When MC Kang Ho Dong asked the two members the question, “Did you ever have a hard time because of the excessive love you received from fans?‘. Changmin responded, “I changed my phone number because I got a lot of prank calls. 5 minutes after I changed my number, I got a text on the number saying ‘You changed your number’, which shocked me“.

Yunho added, “It’s very mysterious. I changed my phone number again and I got a text saying ‘Changing your number frequently isn’t good’. I also got pictures of items that could only be found in our dorm. I was very surprised at that time“.

Changmin made the audience laugh by saying in jest, “If you know my phone number, it means that you have looked through my personal information, which is a violation of the law. Taking pictures of our dorm is also a violation of the law as it’s housebreaking“.

On the March 2nd’s episode of “Knee-Drop Guru“, Changmin surprised everyone by revealing, “I had no dreams of becoming a singer“.

MC Kang Ho Dong was suspicious and asked, “Did your mother invest in SM?“, and the idol explained, “She just really wanted to see BoA“.

[AKP] 110303 TVXQ pours their hearts out on “Knee-Drop Guru”

ShinyPic.Com

“As a fellow member, I was a little hurt”.

TVXQ poured their hearts out on March 2nd’s episode of “Knee-Drop Guru“.

Explaining their feelings about JYJ breaking off from TVXQ, Yunho stated,”It was a shock to me at that time. I didn’t know [they] filed an injunction. My heart was broken by thinking that our big success at such a young age caused all of this“.

He added, “I was also disappointed as a member that they even took the situation as far as filing a lawsuit. I can personally handle being called a ‘traitor’ but I regretted the situation influencing my beloved and respected parents“.

Changmin revealed his feelings, saying “The situation has been written in the papers and some talked badly about my parents. My father is still a teacher so I felt bad about him getting hurt. I also felt bad at the thought that my siblings or friends would become adults holding this pain in their hearts“.

Changmin reminisced about the then 5-member TVXQ’s final performance in 2009 at NHK’s ‘Red and White Collaboration‘ saying, ”I looked at my schedule and I didn’t see anything. We were performing at a prestigious and memorable event, and I felt sad at the thought that this could possibly be our last stage. We advanced into Japan as raw newbies and it was a great time to profit from it, I didn’t know why I was performing a sad song at such a happy and fun stage”.

Yunho said, “I felt uncomfortable singing on that stage. We had a lot of memories and we came all the way here with one shared dream and I felt afraid that our last stage could take place at one of the most prestigious awards shows. So I felt as if I sang with a sad face, I’d be acknowledging (the situation) so I sang even harder.”

In addition, he revealed the hardships he went through in preparation for the new album, “For the new album, we needed to give off the TVXQ feeling / vibe with only 2 members, so it was hard filling the empty space. We practiced until the early morning, even after all the trainees left“.

At the question “Are the lyrics to ‘Keep Your Head Down’ targeting the JYJ members?“, Yunho replied, “It literally means ‘keep your head down’. Many people are thinking that we’re dissing the members but that was not our intent at all“.

He continued, “In our 1st album, there is a song called ‘Triangle‘, which has the lyrics ‘with a falling heart (I) cry bloody tears’. If we sang that at this time, people would mistake that we’re dissing (them). If we wanted to diss them, we would’ve never came out with this song“.

On the other hand, Changmin said, “I didn’t think we’d be able to dodge many questions for long. I felt we needed a time to jump over them”, giving a reason behind their decision to appear on the show.

TVXQ also revealed the story behind their stage name.

When MC Kang Ho Dong asked, “Were you all satisfied with the team name?“, Yunho said, “I didn’t like it. Our CEO thought about it for a long time and came up with ‘Dong Bang Bul Pae’. When I first heard it, I was really shocked. After that, our names were ‘Jun Muk Go‘ (A Whale Who Lives By Eating Legends), SM5, and Dream Team“.

Additionally, the two members came on the show with the concern, “We want to have more male fans“. Changmin explained, “In Cassiopeia, only 3.25% of the fans are male”.

Kang Ho Dong thought of a quick solution and made the whole cast laugh by saying, “Go to the army. If you go to the army, you can gain the hearts of 6,000,000 soldiers“.

[TRANS] 20110223 LYH MYDAILY Interview: Paradise Ranch

► Lee Yeon Hee reveals her feelings on kiss scene with Chang Min,
embarrassing but had to act cool
ShinyPic.Com
On the television screen, Lee Yeon Hee gives off a fragile feeling. To guys, she would be the embodiment of their first love. Therefore, people would naturally think that she is fragile. But in reality, Lee Yeon Hee is bright and healthy, her face full of life and bright expressions.

SBS drama "Paradise Meadow" showed Lee Yeon Hee's healthy image, in the valley of Jeju Island, wearing a T-shirt and singing folk songs. This image can’t help but brighten one’s eyes. She said, “Recently, a lot of people have been paying close attention to me, so I feel very happy. There are also a lot of news articles and a lot of support. The character (Da Ji) is really bright so I felt myself become healthier as a result; my family and people around me all really like my character.”

Everyone is also very interested in her scenes with Chang Min, she replied “The staff seemed like they really hope there would be NGs for these scenes. I felt really worried inside and didn’t know what to do and acted cool as if it didn’t matter, but I really felt pressure. Chang Min seemed to feel even more embarrassed and shy.” Lee Yeon Hee smiled as she reminisced about the situation, “I really should have taken more care of Chang Min, but I was I was busy with my own things. Chang Min did a lot better than I had expected, which really surprising.”

Regarding “Paradise Ranch” ratings of 7-8%, she expressed, “Even though it’s like this, the reactions from people around us are enthusiastic; our friends seemed to like it a lot so I’m happy.”

► Compliments Chang Min’s acting is impressive
ShinyPic.Com

To Lee Yeon Hee, “Paradise Ranch” is a meaning piece of work.

This is her first time taking on the lead role for a drama series, and the first time working with people her age. She said “Da Ji’s personally is really nice and lively, acting in this character; there were only so many outfits to wear. I play a ranch veterinarian and I need to fall onto horse manure so I can’t wear nice clothes, which is why I only wore those outfits."

Regarding the embarrassing lines in the script, Lee Yeon Hee expressed, “It really was embarrassing. Before filming, I was really worried about what to do but I didn’t worry about it once filming started. I’m normally not that expressive and I don’t like the feeling of being embarrassed, so I just pretended to act cool.”

About Chang Min’s acting, she expressed, “Chang Min? He was quite worried but after watching the broadcast on TV, his acting really is quite good. I’m happy to have worked with him on this drama”

Lee Yeon Hee was evidently happy, as her acting has received a lot of praises although when she first started, she experienced a lot of criticisms, especially during the time for MBC drama “East of Eden”. She stated, “At the time I was very nervous and acknowledged my shortcomings. There were so many talented seniors so my flaws become very obvious.” At that time, Lee Yeon Hee was only 21 years old, a 50 episode drama for someone so young would definitely be burdensome. “I was worried if I would be able to last until the end, the script was difficult and everything was quite hard to accept. Thinking back on it, I feel regretful, why did I have thoughts of resisting? Now, I will deal with everything responsibly.”

She also expressed how she feels in front of the camera: “I still feel a bit nervous, but a lot braver now. Before, because I was young, I was afraid to express freely but now that I’m an adult, I have confidence.”

► Reveals Relationship with Girls Generation
ShinyPic.Com

Actress Lee Yeon Hee’s dream, ever since she debuted at 13 years of age, was to film an action movie.

In the afternoon of the 23rd, Lee Yeon Hee accepted an interview at the company building where she told a story about when she met a certain movie company representative. “They asked what did I want to act, I said I wanted to do an action film so they took out a fun, which really gave me a fright; now I know that they were testing the direction of my future development. Until now, I still have that gun and I’ll stand in front of the mirror practicing various shooting positions. When I was younger, I was quite athletic and always got perfect marks for sport so I really want to do an action movie.”

SM Entertainment has a lot of actors and idol groups, Lee Yeon Hee talked about her relationship with her fellow label mates. “I’m very close to Girls Generation but we rarely have time to see each other. They’re very busy and I feel sorry if I have to take them out to a coffee shop (T/N: think she might mean that they’ll get a lot of attention). I’m closest with Jessica and Yoona. When we went to America, all of SM went, standing on the same stage with them was really exciting.” Reporters asked if she’d join Girls Generation as a singer, she responded, “Ah, I’d feel very unnatural and I’m probably drag them down. Even though I received vocal training, my dream is to become an actress.”

When asked when she became prettier, she replied, “When I was small, my mother really liked taking me out and she did it with pride; and she’d always take only me out.”

Lastly, Lee Yeon Hee expressed, “I’ve been really happy recently thanks to filming “Paradise Meadow”. From today onwards, I will show everyone a continuous growing image.”
