Could there be a single finger that doesn't hurt when you bite all ten? The hearts of parents tear apart as they watch their children fight amongst themselves. The One (real name Jung Soon Won) seems to be feeling the same way as he watches over the fight of 2(TVXQ) vs 3(JYJ) between the five members of TVXQ. How could he be fine when he used to watch over them when they sang together as five?
"When the kids came to Korea, I was the first to meet them. I told them, 'Though the paths you wish to walk are different, stay united at heart. Don't misunderstand each other.' We ended with a glass of soju. They've suddenly been split into two sides and pitted against each other, and I see other singers talking about these kids. It really hurts my heart to see this all."
The One soothed and pacified his wounded heart and wrote a message to the members on his personal Twitter account. His tweet received a great response from fans and '1+1=2, 1+1+1=3, 1+1+1+1+1=1' was chosen as the most meaningful part of his tweet as it carried his hopes for the group to continue as five.
"It's true that they each have different standards and opinions,
but it's a shame that people have divided and pitted them against each other. What kind of problem would there be between the kids themselves? If they were talking amongst themselves and found that their opinions differed and felt a little disappointed in each other because of that, that's okay because that could happen. But I don't think it's right for people other than the parties involved to draw sides and say hurtful words about both sides. Can't we just wait silently for them?"
The One's worry for the five members of TVXQ is similar to that of parents. It seemed as though his eyes were filled with emotional tears as he said,
"They shone the brightest and were the happiest when they were together as five." He has the heart of a teacher who loves his students, one that neither placates the five members nor urges them to make a decision. Watching him made this reporter's heart sting a little.

I'm certain there are many words they have kept hidden in their hearts and have been unable to say
I believe those are things everyone has.
I think they've found themselves on the left and right side of a cold line drawn between them
as they moved constantly between misunderstandings and understandings as they began following their individual standards and feelings.
While searching for the truth and facts, the times everyone spent together with them, so beautiful and more precious than anything else,
have become tainted with unwanted scars and tears and the longer this goes, more brightly lit memories will fade and go out.
It hurts. I find myself so sad.
What is certain, is that all these five people are precious presences to all
and they are people who everyone loves.
Let us wait quietly. Let us pray for them silently.
Pray that they will hurt a little less, and shed no tears..
Let us hope that other than the standards of society and the lines they must respect,
they are more understanding of each other and do not drift apart any further.

As the teacher of these five precious people who I am so happy and thankful to have taught,
I hope that though they may walk different paths, they do not inflict inerasable scars on each other's hearts.
I remember these five kids of different names, appearances and personalities, full of passion as they worked hard,
lighting up the dark rehearsal room with their eyes of variegated colors, brighter and stronger than those of anyone else
As they burned with passion and hearts purer and more earnest than the hearts of others,
because they loved singing and dancing so much and wanted to fulfill their dreams of becoming singers.
These visions still shine so bright within my memories..
I hope they are all alright, I hope they will all be alright....
I hope they are not hurting, and I hope they may be able to live in comfort..
